His long black thick shaggy hair
that looks like a forest on his head, that he pushes aside to get a vivid image
through the scope. The cry from the FoxPro that faints out the sound of the
rushing river as he waits for the unexpected to come. The giant trees give the
creatures a sanctuary to stay hidden from the cold that he uses for cover. His
rough fingers never letting a grip of the stock of the gun loose, as he catches
a glimpse of the predator.
His camouflage that hides him in
the brush as he slowly trails the dog through his scope as he wait for the
perfect moment to squeeze his finger. Then after the sound of the gun his
expression after a successful shot as he says “dog down”. Watching the sweat
pour down his face caring the coyote. With his prideful face as he marches
through the deep drifts.
Hunts keep our relation ship
strong, he feels like my blood brother because of how much we have in common
and the valuable time we spend together. He always has my back in any
situation. A true friend at heart. The cold has never stopped us from our
addiction of hunting and never will. Even on the nastiest days in the year we
are out there trying to start a fire as we find dry branches to keep the fire
going.
The smell of the smoke as he roast
next to the fire. After awhile when he feels warm he puts out the cozy fire.
Foot after foot he gets closer as we follow the path that still faintly shows
from the snow covering our tracks we made to get here. Tony has always been my
best friend and always will even if we are not hunting. If I didn’t have Tony
to always be there for me I wouldn’t be as competitive as I am if I didn’t know
him in sports.
Trying to be better then him in
sports while he does the same for me weather its out on the court, the mat, the
field, or even a shooting match, we can be very competitive. Shooting clearly
has shown our relation ship. I can count on him any time I need him. His hair
is what makes him the most unique. I like everything about him and that’s why I
can proudly call him my best friend
